Prescott Valley Police Arrest Phoenix Man

On August 24, 2009, a report of sexual conduct between 24 year old John D'Avanzo and a 14 year old Prescott Valley girl resulted in D'Avanzo's arrest. D'Avanzo met the girl after their phone numbers were exchanged by mutual friends and they began texting each other. The complaint states that D'Avanzo had a sexual relationship with the girl during the month of August and that he knew her age when the relationship began. D'Avanzo was booked into the Yavapai County Jail charged with five counts of sexual conduct with a minor. Phoenix Police Department ICAC Task Force members assisted with a search warrant at D'Avanzo"s Phoenix dwelling.
