Yavapai County Sheriffs’ Investigation Leads to Arrest of Tennessee Man

An investigation by a Yavapai County sheriff's detective led to the arrest of a Knoxville, Tenn., man for unlawful images depicting the sexual exploitation of minors.

Authorities in Knoxville arrested William Hulsey, 42, after working with the detective and other law enforcement agencies.

The detective discovered Hulsey during an online investigation involving "inappropriate sexual conversations with minors" -- including enticing minors for sex -- and child pornography, Hulsey sent the detective unlawful images depicting the sexual exploitation of minors and with the assistance of the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children task force, the detective identified him. The U.S. Attorney's Office obtained a federal grand jury indictment for Hulsey, and U.S. Marshals arrested him in March. The Arizona ICAC task force, the Seviereville, Tenn., Police Department and detectives in Alberta, Canada also assisted with the investigation.
